Tips and Tricks

Kitchen Solutions

Stale Chips or Crackers?

Solution: Put them in the oven and broil on high for a few minutes. (Be careful not to brown them!)

Salt stuck in Shaker?

Solution: Put about 7-10 grains of rice inside salt shaker to keep salt from clumping.

Tired of Water Boiling Over When Cooking?

Solution: add a pat of butter to the boiling water; works every time!

That's all for now! I hope that you find at
least one of these solutions helpful!

Those are good tips. The one about the butter works especially well when cooking potatoes, since they tend to foam. Here's another fabulous tip:
When cutting brownies, use a plastic knife(the throw away kind). They never stick. This amazes everyone I tell. By the way your blog is beautiful!
