Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

Someone made this fudge (or something similar) at a potluck
and I liked it so much that I looked it up and found this recipe.
I made it a few days ago and it turned out very yummy!

1 1/2 cup organic granulated sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
9-ounce jar peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate

Prepare an 8 by 8 inch baking pan by oiling it.

Melt the chocolate in the microwave or over a double boiler.

Combine milk and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium high heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and mixture is at a rolling boil.

Remove from heat and add vanilla and peanut butter, stirring until well combined.

Pour approximately half of peanut mixture into the chocolate, stir until just combined. The more you stir the grainer the fudge will be, so avoid over mixing.

Pour the chocolate peanut mixture into prepared pan. Then pour peanut mixture on top and smooth in an even layer.

Allow fudge to set at room temperature (3-4 hours) or in refrigerator. Once firm, cut into squares to serve. Enjoy!
