Robins

Last week there were some special visitors to our yard...
Robins! They were hopping all over the place; a sure sign that
spring is almost here! Here a couple pictures that my sister
snapped of them.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth:
make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
Psalm 98:4

Have you seen any robins yet, this spring?

Nope...it's still pretty wintery here!

I love robins! I can't wait until they head up our way, but I think that might be a little while yet. We still have snow and ice everywhere! I am ready for spring time!

Have you seen any Ceder Waxwings this year? I can't remember if that was later in the year when they usually came.

Emily,

A small flock of Cedar Waxwings did pass through a week or two ago, they're such noisy birds! =)

Here in Maine...seeing the robins is a certain sign that spring is just around the corner...even when we still have snow on the ground! We are blessed to have a blue heron that visits our little pond out back every morning...I believe he is looking for breakfast! What an amazing sight he is when he takes flight...a huge wing span...looks very much like a pterodactyl!

Have a blessed day!
