Extreme Chocolate Fudge Brownies

"Ever since I found this recipe on Arlene's blog, it has
been my absolute favorite brownie recipe!
And I am sure, if you love chocolate, it will soon be yours too! "
Don't forget to add the extra cup of chocolate chips! :)

Extreme Chocolate Fudge Brownies

1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup natural sugar
2 Tbs. water
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup un-bleached white flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 325* Grease an 8x8 dish. In a large saucepan over
medium heat, bring butter, sugar, and water to a boil; stir
until sugar is dissolved (2-3 minutes). Remove pan from heat.
Mix in chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Beat in vanilla.
Whisk in eggs. Add dry ingredients and stir till moistened.
*add 1 cup chocolate chips here, if desired*
Spread batter into dish. Bake 35-40 minutes. Make sure you do
not over bake! Start checking 5 minutes before earliest bake time.
Sides should just be pulling away from edges of the pan
and the center should be set.

Sounds deliciouc! But. . . we have tried SOOOoo many brownie recipes that I don't know if our family can take another one! :D For years mama has been in search for the perfect brownie recipe and I think we've finally found one. Maybe I should send mama this recipe just to see if she is still looking! LOL

oooh that's making my mouth water! Think I'll have to find a UK version of this recipe and try it out! Or find a cup converter somewhere....these US cups mean nothing to me!

This is just what I needed! My family teases me about having tried 300,000 brownie recipes. But I must try this. This could be IT.

Yes, I was on the search for the perfect brownie recipe, too. When I finally found this one, I was afraid to be disappointed again... but these are SO worth it!!! And, I haven't bought a storebought mix since I made these. The best brownies. Ever. :P

I'm glad you and your family like them, too :o)
